Happy Earth Day

HAPPY EARTH DAY! Today we celebrate our home, our beautiful planet Earth. And everything that is nature, wild and free. Today we are reminded to not take this place we call home for granted but to take care of it and celebrate it.

I’m also reminded of all the beautiful places within this beautiful planet yet to see and discover and those that I’ve been blessed to know. Image above was taken in Joshua Tree, one of my favorite places. I love the landscapes that make up our National Parks. I’m a National Parks junky. I’m itching for another visit and eager to introduce Penelope to Joshua Tree and our love for camping and exploring nature. Hopefully she follows in our footsteps.

Nature inspires me. It makes me feel revitalized and happy. I get stoked just fantasizing about the next adventure. I get it from my dad. Even though he hasn’t been to many places, ever since I was a little girl, he’s always talked about how beautiful this world is. He would purchase Planet Earth films and make us watch them as kids. I imagined myself visiting these places one day. I told myself that I would. And to this day it’s still my mission. He’s the one that introduced me to road trips and planted the seed to want to explore the world around me. I don’t think he knows that, I need to make sure to tell him.

Whenever I think of our planet, I get really inspired. I want to explore and take care of it. I want to enjoy the beauty that it offers. I don’t want to waste my time here. I want to live to the fullest and immerse myself completely to what life has to offer. Because as that saying goes YOLO 😉

We do only live once, but if we do it right, once is enough. Cheers to LIFE and to our PLANET that sustains our life.

Happy Earth Day everybody!
