DIY Cardboard Playhouses For Kids

CARDBOARD PLAYHOUSES FOR CHILDREN have to be the funnest arts and crafts projects to construct and of course to play in! Two + years ago my husband and I made a choo choo train (pictured above) as a birthday present for a one year old birthday party. It was such a hit!

We loved coming up with the idea, shopping for supplies and building it. All you need is a big cardboard BOX or two, construction paper, scissors or razor blade, glue, tape, and a big imagination! And of course anything you would like to accessorize your creation with. You can go to Michaels and walk out with bags full of goodies if you want.

The first image above of the little houses ( that I just LOVE!) comes from one of my favorite blogs A Beautiful Mess, check them out for more details on how they constructed their little neighborhood above. Hope you ENJOY!
