GOOD MORNING! For the love of TRAVEL! Can we just go on a trip already?! I LOVE travel. I don’t know too many people who don’t. It’s just such a treat! Everything from planning your trip to packing your bag, to getting on that plane or into that car is so simply wonderful to me. Over the years I would say I’ve been blessed to have had the opportunity to travel to many places. Near, far and inbetween. For that I am thankful.
Having had the opportunity to travel I can say that yes, the “travel bug” does exist. It’s out there. As soon as your first time, you can catch it! I think the difference between my first time over seas and my previous time, is not that you want it more, but you realize that it is possible. That yes you can go on a trip, just like in the movies! Ha ha…with hard work, planning and motivation, you learn that travel is possible. My mom always says (no joke) if there is a will there is a way. I’ve always taken that to heart.
So where am I off to next? On a coffee and beach walk date with my friend Holly…oh you mean like trip wise? We have a few things brewing (we as in my prince charming and myself)…see that’s another difference. It’s not just me anymore. Well it hasn’t been just me in a really long time, though once I officially won the jackpot with prince here, I’ve become more of a home body. It doesn’t help that I live in my DREAM location either. And I am thankful for that too! I guess I just want to be where the heart is…home. But good thing he too has a traveling soul. We take turns motivating each other on different adventures. If not on big trips that require an airplane, then for the most part it’s often weekend getaways, and that’s great with me. I am thankful for the best co-pilot I could have ever asked for (I really like this guys can you tell?!).
Anyway! Since I’m not really physically traveling anywhere amazing today, I thought I would virtually visit the beautiful Seychelles, and I’m bringing you along with me (that is if you want to). Where is Seychelles? It’s an island country spanning an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, some 1,500 kilometres (932 mi) east of mainland Africa, northeast of the island of Madagascar. Neat!
I found this beautifully made inspiring short film on vimeo (a theme which you will see often here), so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. ¡Buen viaje!
